BMW 420i burning oil on start up

I have a BMW 420i that emits blue smoke from the exhaust for a couple of seconds after start up, after that it is absolutely clear, the longer the car is left the more smoke blows out. Does anyone know a BMW specialist that can fix this problem.

Probably best asking in the BMW thread....

My F30 330i (B48 engine) did this shortly after I bought it from BMW so luckily covered by the BMW Approved Used warranty. They replaced the PCV system first, as that's the cheapest option. They gave it back to me, still smoking. So then they did the expensive thing and replaced the turbo, which solved the problem.

From what I can see, it's usually the Turbo oil seal that fails.

Recommend you as the Mods to move this to 'BMW General', as there may well be someone there who knows a good Indy in your area.
