Taking the knee to be limited to a few fixtures

I must admit I'm pleased. Racism is awful and has no place in the game etc, but I was starting to wonder if the taking of the knee was going to go on forever. Bit like clapping the NHS, it made a statement at the time, but dragging it on for any longer was starting to look ridiculous.

Yep agree, it’s become less of a statement and more of a token gesture which they seemed too afraid to stop in case of criticism.
