Jumpbox Microcamper conversions

Afternoon all
Currently drive an old shed and am being tempted to swap for a van derived motor (Berlingo/Partner etc.) so that I can purchase a microcamper conversion
Just like the idea of being able to drop everything on a Friday after work and just saunter off to the dales but on a budget
Anybody have any experience of life with one of these? I am quite liking the idea of one with a drive away awning for some extra space when cooking etc
Would love to hear any feedback if anybody has experienced these as a jumpstart
