Just got brand new Tuscan S. Bloody amazing car.

Front spoiler, below grill, seems very low though. Anyone smashed theirs off yet on the lovely speed humps that are absolutely everywhere? Or doesn't it mind the odd bit of contact with the ground?

Doesn't look too difficult to take it off though.
Might get the garage to remove it at first service (and get it bolted back for track days, if I can afford to go on one having paid for the car).
Anyway, it's bloomin' amazing.

Well done....take it easy on the running in. Wrap up warm and take the roof off....fantastic!!!

Put some pictures up as soon as you get a moment.

I've scrapped mine a few times - it seems quite tough though - no damage done.

Don't know what effect it has on stablility at 'UK speeds' but found Tuscan much more stable than other TVRs I've had when I drove it on the Autobahn recently.

Congrats, Nick; a stunning piece of mobile sculpture.

What colour?

I suggest a trip to North Wales and/or Scotland for starters and later, ferry to France and, well - what do you think?

[Clue: proclaimation often uttered by Sid Widdell when the Crafty Cockney slams 3 arras into the treble top..]

It's Rosso Pearlescent. Same as the Tuscan R in the brochure. Looks fantastic. I had the grill done in a darker shade of metallic red though, 'cos it sets it back really nicely.

Will put some pictures up as soon as...

1)Get my computer fixed. (It overheats after a few minutes!)
2)Get my scanner up and running.

Saw a nice blue Tuscan S this morning just near Bingham heading Nottingham way. Anybody's on here?

TVR5,

Where abouts in the East Mids are you... I'm based in Belper in Derbyshire and there seems to be very few TVR's around... certainly when I'm out.

Hope you enjoy the Tuscan S, must say that I was hoping to make one my next TVR, but it'll be a while yet cos I've only just changed my Griff for another one.

Cheers

dai, Belper is my home town, born and bred. I live darn sarf now but my folks and family are still there. I'll drop you a line next time I bring the Tuscan up and hook up for a blast.

They're very strong..

Scuffed mine quite a few times on bumps and what-not. Even bumped it into a kerb when parking once (only at a couple of mph). Sounded nasty, but still on one piece!

Sounds good to me...

The Griff is out in any weather (it has to be up here) so whenever you're around I'd be more than happy to meet up and cause some minor disturbance...

Might even know a good pub or two...

Cheers

DC.

I'm in Nottingham.
Yes the last 2 I had were Griff 500's. And prior to that a Griff 4.3. And prior to that a 400SE. So the Tuscan 'S' is the 5th TVR, hence, TVR 5 ! Also, the 'S' looks a bit like a 5, also hence TVR 5. Clever eh? Errr, maybe not.
