Drove from the North East yesterday, stayed overnight in Malvern then drove to Cardiff this afternoon and then onto Brockenhurst Hampshire. The one thing that cheered me up after sitting in the car for hours, on the M27 this afternoon I was behind a Black B10, personalised number plate that included B10 as the first 3 characters, immaculate condition, as I passed it the driver and 3 middle aged passengers in the car. After we passed through some horrendous roadwork delays he got in front of me and put his foot down, Estimate he was hitting close to a ton in the outside lane heading towards Poole Dorset, it was such a brilliant sight to watch a car that must be at least 19 yrs old flash past the other motors on the road. Driven by the owner who clearly has lavished some serious love on the car. I've got the latest shape 5 series in black not an alpina unfortunately but it made my car look like it had just been through a forest rally stage. Whoever the driver/owner is I salute you sir, wonderful bit of kit.

Was it a 3.3, V8 or V8s? Some have the badge on the rear.

Lovely motors and was tempted by a 3.3 touring manual many moons back....prices gone way north since then.
