Any ideas on this one.

Cerb 4.5 not that I think size makes a difference here. Running standard suspension.

When I go over a bump I get a very loud bang from the rear left - sounds like the exhaust hittin the bottom of the car but isn't. If both rear wheels hit a bump at the same time it doesn't make a sound, if its one side and not the other I get the bang.

I would 'guess' at top diff mount or a duff Damper.

If its the dampers there are some new Nitrons on eBay for a Cerbera.

(No they are not mine)

I'll go for shocks or ARB, am I allowed to pick two?

Edited as I couldn't spell ARB

Broken ARB mounting? Basically just stick your head under and look at it.

From what you describe I'd say it was related to the roll bar since you need a differential in suspension travel for it to make a noise.

Had exactly this with mine, it's the rose joint on the end of the roll bar drop link where it attaches to the lwr wishbone. Probably worth changing both sides, there not expensive, as the other side is probably not far behind it.

Whilst you got the drop links unattached, check the roll bar for free movement, the mountings can also seize causing the odd creak.
