DB9 aftermarket bluetooth media

When I purchased the car (a 2007 DB9) just under a year ago I noticed a couple of media adapters: an old 30 pin iphone wire, and a rca connector with a switch and a blue light; the garage at the time had taken the car as part exchange so didn't know much other than them being aftermarket media adapters. For most of my ownership I have had no interest in playing music from my phone, as I'm more than content to just listen to the V12, however I recently tried to connect and have been unable to so wondered if anyone had similar devices and could advise?

A bit more info:
When the RCA device is turned off/on the entertainment system reboots, so it appears to be connected, furthermore when I change to the CD player it auto-detects a track and starts playing (no sound and there is no CD in) which I believe is how these devices would usually connect. A Bluetooth device inconsistently appears when everything is turned on, sometimes as an unnamed device and sometimes as Audio_LE however my phone will either refuse to connect or, in the case of Audio_LE, state that an app is required. The RCA adapter seems to go into the back of the entertainment and I assume the iphone cable does the same via the glovebox.

What connectors do you have in the centre console? Is there a small multi-way socket next to the USB socket?

I should have said, it's an 07 and there isn't a centre console and there are no connectors under the cover/armrest (after removing it) where the centre console would be.

There are no media connectors anywhere that I'm aware of other than the aftermarket ones.

Hi looks very similar to a Dension unit in my 2007 vantage fitted by James of Aston Installations which plays music via the 30 pin plug from a iPod or at the time a 30pin phone.
The unit is wired into the AM circuit of the radio you will find that the AM radio does not work, have not used mine for years l seem to remember you turn on with switch in footwell set radio to discs plug iPod in and away you go.
I did think about getting adapter for 30pin to modern iPhone but as yourself my preferred noise is the exhaust so l didn’t bother.

I've gone digging in the footwell and confirm it is the Dension but I still cannot get the Bluetooth working, which is incredibly frustrating!

At this point it's less about the music and more about not wanting to be beaten by it!

Hi sorry did not make it clear it is not a Bluetooth system only plays via 30 pin plug.

I have no idea what my phone was picking up initially but I've just come to that conclusion myself. I'll try adding a Bovee adapter and hope for the best.

I did manage to get an old iPhone 3 working in the car today so that's a good sign for the system.
