As above, are there any free business banking accounts out there other than Starling?

It will receive 10-15 bank transfers in per year and probably pay out a similar amount via bank transfer or debit card payments.

Need to be able to do everything online too, preferably via an app.

Thanks in advance.

Sum Up give you a free business account, or at least they did for me about 18 months ago.

Why not just Starling? Have you tried the other app based challenger banks like Monzo, Revolut, etc?

We have used Starling for just over 1 year... very happy. Although I thought I heard that the account opening procedure may now be more difficult.

I’ve got starling accounts for 3 different businesses and very happy. Unfortunately I can’t use them for this fourth business.

Cheers for recommendations so far I’ll try them next week.

We use Tide and Revolut, not quite free but not far off. Seem to work OK
I tried to open a Starling account but it was so difficult I gave up, they must be loosing a lot of potential accounts.

In addition to Monzo (and Starling), Virgin Money do a free account, although I suspect Monzo get better customer service reviews!

There's also Mettle, which is an e-money account rather than a full bank account (so doesn't have FSCS cover, but is backed by Natwest) but it comes with FreeAgent accounting software for free, which may be useful for you. (I keep trying to get Mrs FTR to set this up for her music work.)

I don't use any of the above (I do have a Startling account) but it does seem like they all do much the same thing - it probably comes down to which app you prefer!!
