Hey PH - Is anyone aware of any market level (UK or EU) stats on the finance methods people finance their cars? Ideally looking for a split between PCP, HP, lease, cash but happily take data combinations of these such as 'dealer finance, lease, cash' etc.

A resourceful bunch on here, thought someone may have come across something.

Can't see anything on the industry body websites.... internet searches have proved fruitless too.

Thanks in advance!

Generally around 85% of the UK vehicle parc is financed (whether that is through leasing, PCP, PCH, HP). Most of that comprises company vehicles.

Cash will be more difficult to split as cash would also include bank loan or mortgage equity withdrawal.
