HI , Does anyone of you know this company?.......... helixautosport https://helixautosport.com/
It would be interesting, to know more details, their manufactures

Helix Autosport Ltd
Vantage Business Park, Unit 1, Bloxham Rd, Banbury OX16 9UX, United Kingdom

here dimensions cluch plate for 4.3 and 4.7 , the cluch plate is equal for 4.3 and 4.7 .................

the big clutch manufacturing companies, talk to each other, so that the retailer does not have access to these parts, unless they go to the AM distributors, everything is a business to increase prices, they do not sell the products directly to you, and they are out of catalog, although they manufacture them....., for this reason it is very important to locate where to acquire them....for the correct price....

Prior to the Vantage, I used to run a heavily modified Fiat Coupe. I ran a Helix organic clutch for several years. It was heavy, but coped with up to 500bhp and 375lb-ft

I had several over the years with no issues at all - good quality kit

Keep in mind you want the clutch plate and the clutch cover replaced, as both items wear.

Does this £960 replacement cost for clutch plate only include labour plus parts ? ..would like to think so, even at £110 an hour labour at DAE it seems good VFM compared to full clutch/flywheel.

The Aston clutch prices are pretty amusing considering it’s a pretty easy job as well. The parts especially which aren’t exactly made out of kryptonite.

Its not just Aston Martin clutches that are expensive. I had an RS6 V8 and the clutch on that was expensive too, 15 years ago it was £2500. I know of friends with BMW M5 V8s who pay similar.

To be fair, its not "just" the clutch that is being replaced its clutch+ flywheel. If you could get "just" the clutch plates replaced at a main dealer for say £1200 I dont think there would be many complaints. Its the £3500 and "dont know how long it will last" scenario that has made clutch life the most popular Vantage maintenance topic since it was launched.

Anyone know of any cheap(er) to run high capacity engine luxury sportscars ? smile

I believe that price is parts only - there’s another tab on the DAE site that shows £770 to fit

I have a 5kmile old genuine Aston martin clutch, cover plate and flywheel.

I removed it to fit a twin plate and it had been replaced under warranty before i bought the car.

I could be persuaded to part with it.........
