NOS Bushes - quite old but still ok to use?
Discussion
I've located some NOS bushes for my' 81 Lancer in the UK, they're located in the Philippines.
They're probably going to be at least 25 years old or more, from what I'm guessing Mitsubishi stopped making new stuff for the Lancer A176 series in the mid 90's at the latest.
They have been in their sealed bags in a garage since whenever, and as these bushes are rare and NLA, even if they are not safe to use, could I measure them up and then use the pattern to get new ones spun out of poly perhaps?. Would this be as simple as copying the dimensions, and could they have deformed or shrunk in that time?.
Thanks in advance, & a virtual cold beer to you all.

Like bongtom I live in S E Asia, i've found all sort of Nos for my Elan +2, old ford bits in garages, but I'd be carfull with rubber, the weather kills it.
Have you had a look to see of the part you want was used on the Proton Waja or Saga, if it is I can check if it available in Malaysia. Saga is still common here.
