thinking of seling tilly much much loved cobolt blue 95 chim 4.0L, she has alot of leven bits and is in good health and full service history.
Whats the selling market like for selling at the mo'?

She has ben a great friend but its time to move on.

Hiya, The selling market seems to be poor lately, ive had mine advertised all over the place for four weeks and have only had a couple of people veiw the car. They also seems to be plenty going for silly money i.e sub £9000. Im gutted as I must sell one of the tivs by the end of this month and if I havnt sold the Chim by this weekend then im going to have to try selling the Cerb for silly money. Im gutted either way but im getting pissed off by idiots wasting my time and im not going to bow down and let someone steal my chim for a silly price. My advise if you dont need to sell it is keep it! your unlikely to get back what the car is worth to you.

Yup, the market is pretty poor. Just sold my 4.5. I only had 1 person come to look at it and he bought it. I had to work hard for the sale though. I had averts on here, at work, at other peoples work, through friends and all sorts. In the end it was a guy who'd just joined the Surrey TVRCC (hello Chris!). He got a bargain if you ask me. £14k for a '97 P 4.5 with MA chip, Avo suspension, ACT kit, sports exhaust and a few other bits and pieces.

Oh well, a new house beckons

Your in the wrong country,just sold 97,500 for 26k, with all the goodies taken off..
Before you all get excited and start exporting,our road transport authority won't allow TVR's in anymore,due to lack of crash testing.

It doesn't help that there are so many poor examples out there, and new prospective owners who don't know the true cost of getting them back into good condition.
