Currently near the end of an engine re-build . Engine starts well and runs fine until it warms up and chokes on fuel. Plugs stop working wet with fuel. Any obvious answers ? Taa

Got access to the diagnostic software?

You'll be able to see any sensors malfunctioning then....Maybe something breaking down with heat?
I'd hook the laptop up, start and run engine to the point that it runs rough/cuts out. Create a log file and see what's causing the over fuelling.

How old is the coil pack and HT leads?
Just my 2p's worth.

Cheers Nick. We’ve asked on the FB group as well and the sensor was mentioned there too. It’s got the cable for the diagnostics so we’ll see what we can do.

Similar symptoms on mine (v8) was a result of bad leads and coil packs.

One more thing to check is the Lambda sensors, are they switching and are they connected the correctly?

It's all guess work until knowing what the ECU is seeing and perhaps not seeing

Guessing that none of the engine loom plugs have been mixed up and connected to the wrong sensors
