Cupra Leon (new) or 2016 Nissan Juke?

Well I have a dilemma for my next car.
I have a Cupra Leon 245 vz1 on order via Yes lease for delivery towards the end of the year, provisional build date is first week in November. It’s a decent deal. On a 9+23 10000 miles per year at £260 a month.
However due to the passing of my mother I have the chance of getting her car from my dad, it’s a 2016 Nissan Juke Tekna which was hers from new and has only done 16000 miles. It’s a 1.2 turbo manual with 115hp and being a tekna leather and loads of toys. It’s got a personal plate on as well which hides its age a bit. Whilst it not something I would usually choose I can have the juke for about £4K from my dad as he would rather keep the car in the family than sell it, it seems to be worth about £8.5-9k so I would be getting a real bargain and could probably get a 2-3 years of free motoring in it before selling it on.
I would also consider remapping the juke to make it a bit more peppy and look to somehow add apple car play to it but even after that it would still be a cheap car.
In relation to the Leon order yes won’t let me transfer it to another person if they were interested and as well as the £300 broker fee I have already paid the say as per their terms I will need to pay a further £600 cancellation fee for my order, which seems a little unfair as they won’t have lost anything with the car only being allocated a provisional build date. I have tried to argue my case and failed. I will also need to pay around £600 to end my a5 lease early if I take the juke option.
So man maths says about £5200 outlay will see me in the juke which I will own outright and will probably still be worth that after a couple of years of use whilst the Leon will cost me about £8k to lease over 2 years. What should I do?
The size of the juke isn’t really a factor as we have a Vito sport x van for family trips etc.

The Juke won’t be as nice as your current or prospective lease cars, but it will offer you financial flexibility and presumably no ongoing commitments other than maintaining it. I mean, it’s a slight downgrade - but it’s hardly a banger!
Bang on. I sometimes think their perception as 'white goods' cars disguises the fact they are actually pretty good. The baby turbo engine is sweet, the driving position bang on, they drive well, their ubiquity is a curse!! Looks like the consensus is for the juke then. Will have to let the wife have a decent test drive of it this week. She had a juke Tekna in 2012 with the 1.6 petrol and a 5 speed box. She didn’t like it at all and got rid after about 11 months mainly due to the fact the gearing was short, the engine seemed to be screaming all the time. It really could have done with another gear. I expect the 1.2 turbo with the 6 speed box may sort these issues a bit though as it has quite a bit more torque lower down than the 1.6.
You say you’re dad would rather the Juke was kept in the family, but will this fundamentally change in a couple of years time when you’re looking to move it on? Or sooner if you don’t get on with it?
On that note, have you actually driven it yet? I must confess to being very unimpressed by one I had a couple of years ago as a hire car over a few days.

Surprised at all the love for the Juke here. I owned one and it was utter garbage. I hated it and would never ever drive one, let alone own one again.
Fuel tank the size of a coke can, boot the size of an oil drum, went through consumables and front tyres constantly (twice in 12k miles) and you couldn’t make out the front of the car because of the big highlights sat on the top of the bonnet. Achieved 24mpg in mine too in 18 months. Utterly hateful.

Me too! I though Jukes/ notes / Qashqai's would all be hated on an enthusiast forum.
