When car stopped sometimes it will not restart.
Starter does not turn at all, goes with a bump then will restart
Would this be starter on something else
Only happened twice but not good
Thanks

I'm sure this will work, but as a much cheaper option you could install a relay into the starting circuit which will do the same.

Um, that’s exactly what the off the shelf kit does. Of course you can DIY ! But it does just connect.

I agree 100%. However, they are asking £48.95 for the kit. You can buy a relay for £3 which will achieve the same result.

It’s a mod that divides opinions.
I’m firmly in the camp of sorting out the problem that causes the issue in the first place.

Relay ordered, going to change all wires for better than original. Hopefully this will sort it.
Thanks for all the replies. Kev

Really, I have been supplying these since 2000. If you have a cure without modifying the wiring or adding a relay . Go provide details. !

Any cure requires the wiring to be modified. The hot start rely is something to add to the existing wiring. More of a patch repair to make things simple. Nothing wrong with that. If your car is in bits for restoration perhaps then make good all patch repairs. I would
