Poor quality photo uploads from Mac
Discussion
Hi,
Whenever I upload pictures from my Mac the image quality is pretty poor. I export the pictures to my desktop from the Photos app using the maximum settings (or export the original), and the files sizes are large but when I view them on the forum they always look poor quality. I've just uploaded a post to the Jimny thread in GG as an example.
My Mac is set to download originals.
Any ideas as to what I'm doing wrong?
Thanks

The image looks absolutely fine on my PC (1920 x 1080 screens).
I see nothing wrong with it at all? Thumbsnap has not changed the image as far as I can see (it's 3840 x 2880 pixels).
I copied the pic to my own hosting and here it is - complete with EXIF info etc. (it was originally taken with an iPhone 12).

Sorry, I should have responded sooner. Many thanks for the replies. I think this issue was that I had selected optimise storage on my Mac/iPhone/iPad, so the originals are stored in the cloud but low res images on the devices. I changed the settings as I have plenty of storage, and edited the post, which is why the images now look fine.
