UK gov test chipped number plates with batteries "to stop terrorism"

So what about just removing the battery or cutting out the chip? didnt they think of that?

waste of pigging money and time IMHO...

Lining up the government and shooting the lot of them would do far more to stop terrorism.

The only thing they are good for is tracking all the good law abiding people.
Terrorists will just takeout the battery and become invisible!!
Pointless waste of time

Am I being sceptical if I suggested a link to future toll roads in the UK?
