Sumi is very good indeed.
A lot of the high profile Japanese places seem to be very Instagram friendly so are perhaps (over) priced accordingly, but of those, Zuma has always seemed to have the best food to me
If you want it to be all about the food and less pretentious/Instagram, try Hannah.A lot of the high profile Japanese places seem to be very Instagram friendly so are perhaps (over) priced accordingly, but of those, Zuma has always seemed to have the best food to me
It’s Omakase only in the evenings, not a quick affair. Obviously omakase only works if you’re prepared to trust the chef and are willing to try things that you probably wouldn’t order a la carte, so don’t expect the place to be filled with Europeans wanting “a bit of sushi”.
