Sadly not good. I don’t have an issue with the actors nor the cgi. It’s just poorly written and poorly directed. Goodness me they have fallen a long way from Endgame.

I enjoyed it. Seemed lighter and funnier. As an opening episode it was better than Falcon and the Winter Soldier

Wasn’t as bad as I thought it would be from the first trailer.

It’s very much Marvel-lite.

Not too keen on the CGI tbh. Looked too cartoony to me. Almost Shrek style.

I watched half the trailer and that was enough for me, Marvel have really lost their way

Me too.

And other people had something new to moan about, so everyone is happy!

I didn’t want to dislike it. But it’s such a long way from the writing of the earlier films. I think some are very easily pleased. They have enormous resources and access to top tier talent. As such, audiences are surely entitled to expect something more than mediocrity.

Did anyone watching the courtroom ‘fight’ find it anything other than cringe? I’ve seen a BBV soap do more convincing action.

Think some people are expecting too much. I loved it (after thinking I wouldn’t), it was fun, light hearted and didn’t take itself too seriously. Why some people expect everything to be a cross between Shawshank Redemption and The Matrix is beyond me - it’s light entertainment, so lighten up and just enjoy it for what it is.

I am the Endgame hater and you could see the writing on the wall with that film , it was the Avengers film that NEVER needed to be made, a woeful piece of self important garbage. Makes even the last Star Wars film seem normal.

The premise is ridiculous, she looks ridiculous, the entire thing about Hulk is that it is a pain in the bum to change, to be that thing, yet here we have a sexy woman, (I wonder why it was made ahem) who is also a lawyer yes? Who changes green at will.

Ridiculous sorry

The first ep was mildly entertaining, but I felt it undermined Bruce Banner’s 15 year character arc. She accomplished all he did and more just in the first ep just by getting a bit of his blood on her.

The usual modern writing of female heroes as totally flawless and perfect from the off, no redemption arc or character building needed. Simply perfect as they are... And also why they make for boring viewing.

It's a reasonable sitcom based in the MCU but all the now normal traits of undermining established male heros to make their new female 'replacements' look better and lots of little feminist jiibes and point scoring make it a lot harder to watch than it would otherwise be.

As an MCU fan thought I would give it a try, lasted until the Mexican bunker, not for me, pretty dire.

Initially had high hopes for this, then the trailer broke and I realised this could turn out to be yet another disney+ screw up and unfortunately I was right.

Basically yet another agenda driven show, within 10 minutes they'd already changed the cannon of how she becomes She Hulk, purely to make her look more awesome. In the comics Bruce is forced to give her a transfusion because she is dying but that wouldn't be "empowering" so in the series they flip it so she saves the Hulk, you know the basically indestructible being, because, well it fits the agenda.

By the end of the show we have random allegations of male domestic abuse, some random guys acting like sexual predators because well, all men are apparently and then she turns out to be 10 times a better Hulk than the original within 5 minutes because she's a female and has apparently had to deal with being angry at men all her life for looking down on her.

I seriously wanted to like this show but it's yet another show that seems to want to destroy all the good work that has gone into the MCU previously as it cares more about getting across a political message than actually making a decent show.

From the glorious high's of films like Avengers, Captain America, End Game etc to yet another political propaganda piece from Disney. Them buying the rights to Marvel is probably the worst thing that could have happened to that franchise.

I'll preface this by saying (for the miserable bds) yes, I am aware it's make-believe based on a comic etc etc...

Can't disagree with the posts above tbh. I kinda enjoyed it but.... she's effectively more powerful than the Hulk, or at the very least at the same level of power? The Hulk who can destroy a planet? The Hulk who now looks like a fking idiot for spending 15 years putting his life back together when it's just soooo easy?

It struck me that the only sympathetic male character was Bruce B - the rest were, without putting too fine a point on it, fkwits and total losers. Curious to see if S2 continues down this path and what sort of message that sends to teen boys...
