Best Children's Film of all time
Discussion
It's too generational to have a definitive answer on this.
You've got films like Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, Mary Poppins, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, The Railway Children and Bedknobs and Broomsticks which are all films I remember vividly from my childhood. These were all films my parents showed me as they were the films they grew up with.
You've then got the films I grew up with and went to the cinema to watch such as The Lion King, Home Alone, Jumangi, Flubber, James and the Giant Peach, Matilda, Beethoven, Goodnight Mister Tom, Hook, Free Willy, Wallace and Gromit and Casper etc..
Looking at the films my nieces and nephews are watching and it's all Paddington, Frozen and Harry Potter. I also grew up with Harry Potter being 12 when the first film was released.
All of the above films are fantastic and one's I still watch today as a 33 year old. There's also the era of Pixar films from 2000 and on that are fantastic such as Chicken Run and Shrek.
Oh, and lets not forget Christmas films. Chirstmas films are some of the best kids films with the already mentioned Home Alone but you've also got The Santa Claus, Miracle on 34th St, Jingle All the Way, Elf and Die Hard...
