Sniper Elite 5
Discussion
Decided to give this a go in coop mode. We have it on the hardest settings without enemy markers etc, all on authentic settings and with all other options set to the hardest they can be and apart from a few deaths, we are storming through the levels with no bother at all.
We haven't even bothered upgrading weapons but have added the odd skill upgrade, but there just seems to be very few enemies.
No stealth approach, either. Alarms going off all over the place etc.
I was expecting a serious challenge with wave after wave of enemies, but you can walk into one of the huge maps, kill several people from a distance, deal with a few more as you complete missions and side missions and walk out and escape.
Even a few tanks we have come across have been taken out with ease.
I have seen several tips and tricks type pages online with advice on how to play and the problems you will face with the difficulty ramped up and it has left us both shrugging our shoulders.
Has anyone else played this and found the same?

Me and a friend play coop occasionally and normally we start out creeping around, hiding bodies etc. It usually devolves into a gun-fest shortly after.
Also, in case you are unaware, if you use the binoculars and scout enemies they get a little bio, such as “Peter wants to start a bakery after the war”, “Hans hates Werner and wants to kill him”, or “Werner is suspicious the Hans doesn’t like him very much”.
We often decide who to kill and who to knockout based on the bios.

How on earth would you take out a tank? Get inside and shoot the crew?!We haven't even bothered upgrading weapons but have added the odd skill upgrade, but there just seems to be very few enemies.

You shoot it in the back (engine) with AP rounds which blows up the engine and cracks open the armour, then keep shooting into the crack and eventually (depending of your rifles particular "damage" rating when using AP rounds) it'll blow up.
There's more common ways like Panzerfaust, mines etc but you can kill a Tiger with a handful of .30-06/8mm/.303 bullets!
I've got every SE game and the earlier ones were better for me, mainly as I try to play as an actual "sniper" as such but since they added Suppressors in SE4 you can now blast away all day long and play the game more like a Call of duty game, then they've added some "Hitman" style kills which don't really match the Sniper game style for me.
Visually the games are looking better and better but I'm not sure I'll be getting SE6 whenever that gets pumped out.
