In various driving situations there are vehicle types that spell danger.

In town it could be taxis, who can do anything at any time.

On the motorway for me it is lorries, as they indicate and change lanes without regard to others.

What others to people recognise?

All vehicles (or perhaps road users) spell danger, they all present a hazard that has to be factored in.

Warrior/Navarra/Amarok type pick up trucks. Seemingly always driven poorly by the type of bloke who gets a neck tattoo.

IMO the only healthy way to approach driving is to assume that every road user (including yourself) is incompetent in every respect. Trying to ascribe particular types of incompetence to the drivers of particular types of vehicle risks the converse assumption - that the drivers of other vehicle types wont make the mistake in question.

So in answer to the question, the types of vehicle I treat with suspicion are the ones that come anywhere near me. smile

Scooters / small motorbikes / electric scooters - mainly being used for food deliveries. Frequent random changes of direction with zero anticipation or warning.

Toyota Yaris, or any other car driven by mainly old people.

Volvos or SE BMWs in the inside lane, or any car with a aerial on the roof in addition to the radio one.

Has to be the Toyota Prius, especially on or inside the M25. They seem to be the Uber drivers' car of choice, most of whom appear to be blind and suicidal.

Used to be Xsara Picassos but now, Honda Jazz, Toyota Yaris, Citroën Berlingo (or Peugeot equivalent) or anything at all that isn't a soft top with the roof down and the driver wearing anything on their head.
