Hi all, I’m thinking about getting an Everest Rubber strap for my Blue Submariner.
Has anyone got some pictures with of theirs with the strap so I can see what they look like please.
Cheers.
Dave.

Vanguard make some very nice fitted straps for Rolex and Tudor. I ordered the black rubber for my BB58 this afternoon and it's due to be delivered Tuesday!

Was that from the Vanguard website? I fancy one but get put off by stories of people getting hammered for customs charges

Yes, $13, DHL express postage. My strap was $130, but if you sign up for emails you get $20 off. I think it ended up being £97 all in. I expect to get stiffed for customs etc, so probably another £30 or so.Compared to the other brands mentioned that still works out relatively cheap and from what I can tell the reviews really rate them. The other bonus is that the straps are compatible with the OEM deployant clasp.

Don't forget crafter blue too if you are going to order from overseas. I was very impressed with the strap for my Seiko.

+2, they're great straps, but strangely they don't seem to make one for the BB58.

My Vanguard strap arrived in 2 days! Seems it shipped from Dubai of all places.
It really is a nice bit of kit. It really matches the scale of the BB58 with a nice taper and not too thick. It has plenty of holes, fairly close together so you can get a good fit on the wrist. That is one criticism of the Everest strap, difficulty in getting a nice fit as the holes are fairly widely spaced.

Good heavens man. Straighten that bezel up. Some of us get itchy teeth.
Strap look good though. smile

biggrin Many apologies, I hadn't noticed. These fitted rubber straps a fairly tight to fit so the bezel must have moved during the battle.

I'm going to go for it. Will still be cheaper than £210 for an Everest!
