hi folks,

i'm seeing the E0210 part number for the pre-serpentine drive belt. does anyone know a cross referenced part number from a major manufacturer?

or even belt lengths?

im looking for something i can find here in the states (using jet fuel to fly a 4oz piece of rubber 3000 miles seems like a waste).

thanks in advance.

Well anything with a Rover V8 in it. Your easiest match in the USA will be a Classic Range Rover of the same year. This company have NY and CA warehouses. Surely they can help?

Rimmer Bros is a great resource for parts in the US (both UK and US locations), Rover Parts also good as mentioned, Rovers North is a little expensive but an option, BP Utah, etc - really anywhere that deals with classic Land Rovers.

My Griffith 400 pre-cat, no air con or power steering, uses a Gates (American?) 6225 MC belt.

This is not what you want but my serpentine Chimp uses a QBR71850 I believe the part numbers relate to R7 (7 ribs) 1850mm long. If you can count yours and measure the length you should be able to work it out.

In order for people to help you you'll need to say if you have AC and or power steering I think (unless the pre serp doesn't run these off this belt)

Use a dress makers tape measure (the cloth ones) and measure the belt.
Go buy one. Clean everthing so you don't get the belt dirty. Trial fit the belt. If not good take it back and exchange it for a larger/smaller one as required. Take the belt with you so you find the right width.
I think you guys over the water have a much better choice of stuff in the stores.
