6K budget - what can I get?

Hi all,

Have to hand in my lease by December so I’m looking for something to fit the bill in the mean time, hoping you guys could help:

Commuting to and from work around 40miles a day
Parents on weekend around 100mile round journey
No kids so ideally hatchback size
£5000-6000 budget as said in title
Automatic preferred
Something fairly economical, not bothered about petrol/diesel
Something reliable, used to have a clio that kept breaking down on me hence why I went lease route, something reliable is probably my most important criteria!
Ulez compliant a bonus but not deal breaker

Please let me know your thoughts!
