think im gona have to top up oil presuure is dropping lower than usual not dangerously but a noticeable difference. is mobil 0w40 prob best to use?

feed back would be great.

Do a search on 'oil'for different options.

Mobile 0w 40 is too thin.

Not sure low oil with give you low pressure, unless it's dangerously low, your probably due a new pressure relief switch

You should check the oil everytime you drive the car, also the water.

If the pressure is dropping, around corners, then you are causung damage.

Also the viscosity will make a big difference.
Hot 0w 40 is very very runny.

You should expect 40psi at idle and up to 80psi on rev.

I do use a slightly thicker Oil but can’t remember the spec at the moment...

Also the thinner oils do run off the upper engine components quicker, this will make a big difference if you don't drive your car very often.

just read this forum ive been running my cerb on 0w 40 and ive only done 500miles since sept last year better drop the oil what should i be putting in chears daft dave

That don't work with trevors !!

Done very nearly 5k since buying the car IN MAY

I use Silkolene 10W50 purchased from opieoilman, so does Cyclone1. It was ~£6 a litre delivered to my door. Have a chat to Guy at Opie oils if you want to know the technicalities, or check the what oil should I put in my car thread.
