The town Harrogate is another, how you pronounce it is supposed to indicate ether you are posh or not
Unlike Bath, everyone oop north says Bath.
Everyone south of Watford says Barth, posh or not
Rellies live in Bath... sure it’s ‘Baff’Unlike Bath, everyone oop north says Bath.
Everyone south of Watford says Barth, posh or not
A garage in Frome... Double bubble.

You Northern people are funny. Keep it up.
We are correct, there's no need to drag every word out to try and sound posh. I have a friend here (very much up North) who tries to sound incredibly posh despite driving a financed Diesel Audi.
Last week I needed to water my 'graaaaaaaaaaaaarse' apparently as it was slightly brown from the heat.

And it gets worse, according to the new TV adverts Skoda is now "Shkoda"
See also 'Dacia' wanting to be 'Datcher' and 'Hyundai' not going with 'hi-un-die', also I'm sure if they advertised on the telly 'Porsche' would want to be 'Por-sher'.At least 'Nissan' have the decency to called themselves 'Niss-an' in the UK not the dreadful 'Ni-ssan' as they do in America.
