Leven Ali Stalk Kit

Just got my kit this morning - looks well-made stuff, but should be at the price:yikes:.
The instructions look pretty comprehensive and straightforward, but anybody got any other fitting tips before i go mad :smash: with the hacksaw?

How much, i paid £75.00 for mine from Barnet TVR (inc Leven Handbrake as well though...)

Piece of p**s to fit, pull back the rubber, just cut the stalks back as close behind the 'flange' as poss, this'll give a good 15mm of stubb to fix the stalks on to.

Podie, wicked sense of humour for so early on a Friday!!
The stalks are the only bit I have not bought as yet, how are they actually fitted? Sounds as if you have to 'cut' the original stalks and then fix the leven ones onto the end of the original?? Presumably they fix with grub screws?? Is that right?

Cerby, if you're coming to the meet, you're more than welcome to look round my car which has pretty much everything in Leven's catalgoue fitted... (missing a passenger heel plate and an accumate, but that's about it!).

A previous owner fitted the stalks to my car, but I believe they are cut, and then attach. Probably best to speak to Leven direct if you have any concerns.

No Probs Podie! I will definately have a look! I have just got some engine bay work done - rocker covers re-finished - silicone hoses - ignition leads etc, should also look (and perform) quite nicely!! We will look out for you,

price isn't that bad considering their potential market numbers....they're not making these for Saxos after all...

Fitted them and the other bits of full kit last night - yep dead easy in about half an hour(took it careful and followed instructions) and look great...
