Ok so I forgot to put the title on the last one;can be excused since doing the post when should be working!
Anyway, will a 964 Turbo S with B and B tri flo exhaust be too noisy for Donnington PCGB Track Day Sept 6th?

Is it a Donny "noisy" day or not? If it is i think the limit is 106dB in which case you may stand a chance.

If not, you better start singing to Kylie...

"I should be so lucky, lucky lucky lucky"

Flame spitter

there's a total911 trackday at Goodwood on October 4th if you want to put those newly acquired track skills to good use!

Not aware of any skills yet!; objective =to end day with big smile on face, man and machine intact, ready to play out again next time.
Goodwood a bit far for a day out of town, and can't bolt on a family weekend to it cf Anglesey.

I have spoken to Donington.

The limit on the day (6/9/05) is 98 static which equates to about 101 drive by.

It has to be said that my car is quite loud with its full Cargraphic manifolds and exhaust and I had no bother at the last PCGB track day at Donny. I would give it a go if I was you.

FS, I have no problem with 993gt2, 200 cell cats and muffler bypass. Just lift and short shift under the gantry, this is where the db meter is.

Did an RMA day there, was fine until I started giving it full throttle under the gantry. BTW is your GT2 race car the Konrad Motorsport 1998 Cup winning car.

Don't they do any static test?

Konrad chassis number 393076 No 64 Le Mans 1999
First GT2 Porsche to finish in 1999
Won at Daytona, bit on the web about it and also features in a book on racing 911's just published which I foolishly didn't buy.

Never seen a static there myself, they may do if you trip the gantry db meter. Would'nt worry too much.

Let me know when you take the Konrad car on track, would like to have a drool over it.
