Just spending a bit of time on baby today and noticed the gross weight is 1270kg according to the engine bay plate. Now I've always read that the chim had a weight of 1060kg?
Is this TVRs optimistic figures again but going in a different direction?

AFAIK gross weight is the MAXIMUM weight the car is specced to carry

Mine weighed 1080 with abou a gallon of fuel on proper electronic weigh bridge
