Hi guys am about to replace a rear disc on a kit car ive had for a while. (Tiger S6) only trouble is the brake line is rigid, when i remove the caliper bracket to get the disc out will there be any play in the pipe to allow me to move it? not sure how much flex there is in 'rigid' pipe!
cheers

There is a bit, but really you're going to have to release the pipe.

Isn't there a clamp holding the rigid pipe connection that can be unbolted so its the flexible pipe taking the movements instead.

on mine the rigid pipe literally connects direct to the caliper, bit annoying really...

But there must be a rubber hose somewhere upstream to allow for suspension movement? Unless it’s an early Citroen where the pipes are coiled around the pivot points with no flexi-hoses…

ok i see what you mean, yeah the rigid pipe goes along the axle (koln) to a T piece bracket just above the diff housing where it meets a braided flexi supply hose and the other pipe going to the other wheel, interestingly the one going to the other wheel has been swapped out for a braided at some point previously, so i suppose i could see if the bracket can be unbolted to allow the movement.
