AP no longer supply their clutch kit Friction plate: CP2346-4 and Clutch cover: CP2394-14 rated at 339ftlbs for the 500 etc.

Can anyone recommend a clutch kit rated around this figure or hp that’s not to heavy on the foot?

I’ve looked around and found

Racing green TVR Q KIT500

Racetech RD010237TVR Clutch kit for Rover 500

LOF clutches which look good value and up to 500ftlb

I can't help with fitment but I wouldn't touch borg and beck with a bargepole these days.
They were bought out by first line many years ago.

This year I've had the Racing Green Q 500 kit put on my Chim 450 and very pleased with it ... It's a Heavy Duty Land Rover LOF .

Did you notice any difference in foot pressure to operate the pedal?

The Feedback from the Landrover crowd seems positive too and I see a couple of other Rover V8 parts stockists list LOF as well.

The price seems very reasonable I might give them a punt.

Thanks both for your feedback.

Foot pressure is great .... X-Works fitted it for me , Heath & Paul have done a few now and are well pleased with the results.
Got seals done at the same time and no more oil drips smile
