'99 T 30K miles. Full service history, how much?

Bought from Fernies earlier this year. 4.0 Chimerea, T reg (1999), 30K miles just gone through full service with no problems. Excellent condition throughout....

Just got rid of Merc SLK 320 which I needed to in order to buy my Chim but had a nightmare selling it. 2 and half under parkers guide and only ever had 1 phone call and they bought it in the 8 weeks I advertised it. I thought when I got the car that it would be the easiest car in the world to sell!!! My suggestion would be check out the local rags and autotraders etc and drop the price down from what others are selling at. The quality car markets at mo is pants, everyone paying off those average 18 grand credit card debts instead of buying nice cars. The £15,000 mark seems a reasonable bet but you can always drop price but not go up. Mind you in that it cost me about £300 to keep advertising mine in various different places.

Definately agree with TVRBob in terms of the valuation, but they seem to be selling for a lot less at present. Either you will have to take a hit and sell it around the 15k mark, or hang onto it???? Best of luck! Scott.

I'm not intending to sell just yet - unless someone makes me on offer I can't refuse which seems unlikely.

Interested that prices seem to have softened recently, is it cyclical, or is this the start of a rapid decline?

I would think that there will always be a demand (well for the forseeable future anyway) and good examples will become rarer and rarer.

Perhaps I should cherish it and hang on for a few more years and the depreciation will level out?
