Is there any scope for some rationalisation of the cost of living / cost of power / cost of living with power through winter threads in NP&E?

They all seem now to be covering the same ground, to the extent some folk have taken to posting exactly the same content across more than one of those threads, and without taking a look at the thread title you'd be very hard pushed to know which one you're reading. Factor in the marginal cost of electricity consumed by each user switching between the threads, multiplied by the number of users and you'd probably arrive at.....well, not a lot to be honest, but it'll be 3 times that in a month or so. Plus it's starting to clutter the place up.

Thanks for raising this. I think the last two are quite similar, however they've both been running for some time so we can't merge them, and it would be unfair to close one over the other when both have a lot of engagement.

We'll just keep a close eye out for any new threads to merge/close so if you see any new ones pop up, then please feel free to report them.
