Dear Mr Wheeler,

When the next offer to feature one of your glorious creations in a major Hollywood motion picture comes along, could you please ask to see the script before complying? It's wonderful to see TVRs on the big screen, but having to sit through the other two hours of drivel is getting a little painful.

Thanks and best regards,

JulianHJ

p.s. How about touting the Tuscan R around - would love to see it getting wider recognition. Might be a good idea to steer clear of the 'action' genre though...

Mmmm xXx was pants wasn't it - saw it last night. I recommend that if anyone is going to see it, they drink 1/2 bottle of vodka first - it would probably be quite fun then...
Sadly I saw it stone cold sober.

It wasn't that bad. OK he can't act and the storyline was laughable; but there were fit birds, fast cars (shame the Tuscan didn't get to play though), lots of explosions and guns and stuff. What more do you need?

How long is the Tuscan footage?
Is it worth taking a trip to the cinema to see the car in action?
Cheers

The tuscan was barely in it and not moving very quickly. The sound of the GTO is worth a trip out though. Just don't expect to see a really good film and you'll be fine. Think American James Bond with crap acting and crap scrpt and you'll get the picture.

Speaking of crap American copies: has anyone else seen the American version of Fawlty Towers? I almost cried it was so bad...

Funny that.

I thought xXx was ace. A total Bond film, it even had Bond in it, even if he did only last five minutes.

My mates will take to their gaves the vision of Danger Mouse standing dead centre in the auditorium and shouting "DIE YOU UGLY CAR" as that Corvette plunged to its more than timely death. We all pissed our selves, hey Thrust...Venom?

Great film, great action, can't wait for the next Bond film, next month.

Well, have seen it yesterday and quite liked it.
Ok. the storyline is bad, but I really like the russian bitch and her car, the other cars, especially the GTO, the soundtrack and the absolutely mind blowing stunts...BRILLIANT!!!

I must admit I saw it on Saturday night and liked it.

Maybe it's because I'm young...

Not forgetting the other TVR connection... I think it was the one where Bond drives a BMW... :spit: ... the camera car was an old Tasmin with the rear chopped off and a load of scaffolding to carry the cameras. I still don't see that it could outrun a BMW thogh.. ;P

Sad nerdy pub quiz question: who was the first actor to play James Bond? No, no scouring the internet...

OK ok ok... the TVR Boy that I spoke to on satuday morning hadn't. Bloody hell, aren't you joined at the hip then?..second thoughts, define "TVR boy", I didn't mean "owner of TVR", that would be silly.

It was the stuntman who did the opening sequence where the silohette walks in, turns, fires the gun and the screen goes red.
