Is anybody familiar with the yachts in Monaco? I was there last week and noticed how big the one in the pictures is. I'm trying to find out more info on it. But I couldn't work out what it's called.

Maybe post the pic in the super yachts thread. One of our resident beards will know instantly.

A quick google lens search suggests 'Symphony'?

I can certainly confirm it’s not mine. Fairly sure I’d remember if I’d bought a yacht that big, plus never been to Monaco.

HTH.

It is named Symphony and it is owned by Bernard Arnault. He is the co-founder, chairman, and chief exec of LVMH Moët Hennessy – Louis Vuitton SE.

The first one is called ‘get it out’ and the second is called ‘dicks on the table then’.

Would be way cheaper.

Although fewer opportunities for charter.

Probably the easiest way to identify vessels is via Marine Traffic

It looks like Symphony has left Monaco and is heading across the Mediterranean.

For me, as impressive as the big modern yachts are, the yacht that is moored further down (Atlantis II) is much more classy and appealing.... cloud9

The trouble with superyachts is that you just have no privacy, anyone can see online where your yacht is.

It's one of the reasons I don't own one.

Not strictly true. You'd be amazed at how often the AIS is 'down' due to a technical issue. Especially on certain boats.

Hmm, perhaps he'd like to buy Aston Martin?
