Not sure if anyone has ever come across this before?
If I have a series linked recording, lets say Masterchef Australia (guilty pleasure :P) It will record say 3 episodes in one "tile" it will then record 4 episodes under another "tile" (the numbers are made up and random.)
It will also jumble them up, so for instance under the tile with 3 in, it will record Ep1, 3 & 7, the tile with 4 in will have the others.
It makes watching it a right pain, as it means after watching EP1, I have to go and look for Ep2, if allowing it to binge it would play the next Ep in that tile... It also uses different tile pictures a lot of the time, so you find one Tile and go looking for the same, only its now got a different picture!
It happens on multiple recordings/ channels.

The regular HD interface worked well, searching was accurate, linked shows appeared again when a new series came on, navigation was intuitive... it just worked to the point of you never having to really think about it.
Sky Q seemed to bring in someone that had never seen a television before, let alone the old system, got them drunk and then decided to go with whatever they came up with. I presume the same person also designed the remote.

Same here, it’s not great is it? Records every episode known to man too.
LOL I had about 125 recordings of "Abandoned Engineering" Its one of those shows I enjoy, but watch if I have an hour free or whatever, its not a binge. I think it had recorded it over 2 or maybe 3 channels, with multiples of multiples of episodes. thetapeworm said:

Well put! It seems to series link programs if you pause too. Sky Q seemed to bring in someone that had never seen a television before, let alone the old system, got them drunk and then decided to go with whatever they came up with. I presume the same person also designed the remote.

And the shape, size ,and slipperyness of the controller.jeez. Is like holding a bar of soap.
The layout on the controller is upside down. The numbers on the remote need to be at the top. Not the bottom.
There’s a “better” remote the first touch type one was absolute rubbish but there’s an updated one which is slightly better. The layout on the controller is upside down. The numbers on the remote need to be at the top. Not the bottom.
