I actually find the back worse than the front. At least the front is avant-garde in its styling, the back is inexcusably generic.

I guess we may be at the point where the outside is just a wrapper to contain the wonderful interior experience whilst complying with laws and packaging.

It is certainly not the lovely parallel spoke 7 that 007 drove.

If someone told me it was a Chinese rip off I’d believe them. BMW are definitely taking a new direction they’re usually right but I’m not so sure this time..

Coincidence I was about to say China accounts for 40% of bmw sales and I guess this is for that market

Yikes.

The E38 remains the last good looking 7.

It’s like that absolutely 10/10 stunner who smiles at you and then you notice her black front tooth……you still would though.

Wow, quite possibly the ugliest car I have ever seen.

Seen one being tested out in Death Valley a couple of months ago.
I would say my hire car Chevrolet Malibu looked better smile

What a bunch of wkers BMW must employ for someone to sign that off as acceptable. Truly shameful.

I've said it before but how can this be the same company that made all the fantastic looking 'e' cars? The bit I don't understand is they're somehow getting worse. I thought they'd peaked at things like the 5 series GT and X6 etc. but fk me, embarrasing.

You’re on the fence about it then? wink

I agree. Some of the F series cars were pretty good looking as well although there were some odd details like the bonnet shut lines.

Can you order it with the Death Valley camouflage? That's the only way it looks anything less than repellent.

The front...looks like it has been designed by an eco-socialist that hates big cars and their drivers. The back looks like a plumped-up Passat - which might be the worst insult that can be offered to a Beemer.

I'm going to have to take special care of my E63, I certainly wouldn't want one of these in years to come.

That looks bloody hideous. Not helped by this trend of number plate in the bumper rather than on the bootlid.

Just reminds me why I stopped buying BMW's when the E series finished. Unreliable engines, dodgy electrics and fugly too.
