Slightly trivial question, I know, but...

The Sagaris owner's manual does not recomend the use of jet washes, and the use of wheel cleaners.

I live in London, my car park doesn't have car washing facilities, and does not 'permit' the washing of cars within the premises.

How, and where can I wash my car, or have her washed!!

any recomendations/suggestions?

Thank you...

Car washing is part of the ownership experience IMO. I'd buy a bucket and sponge and park on the street on a Sunday morning and do the job myself.

Lots of monkeys will wash the car for you at shopping centre carparks.

Think I would rather have the satisfaction of washing my car myself. At least that way you know that the brush/sponge/shammy isn't filled with gravel or dirt thats going to damage your pride and joy and also the detergents you are using aren't going to cause long term damage to your P & J.Well worth an hour every week IMO.

The jet wash IMO would be ok as long as you had it on a 'softer' setting. i.e spray rather than a jet action thus mimicking an ordinary hosepipe. IIRC it was the harshness of the jet spray that causes the paint to peel/crack (where paint chips are on the body work).

Don't take my word for this tho

You can use a jet wash on the car, the key is not getting to close. Stay about 2-3 feet away (at the nozzle) so it gets rid of the dirt but doesn't have enough force to damage the paint work.
