Any geography bofs?
Discussion
Are these (as I suspect) drumlins?
Remember reading about them 170 years ago in 'O' levels, but never seen one in the till (that's an 'in joke' that I made having googled).
Anyway - they are bloody strange. I pass them on the way to Tescos (which is even more strange if truth be told).

That's a very sneaky way of posting a brilliant photo nonchalantly.
Nah - a proper photographer would have goen an tidied up all those messy little rocks lying about looking like dust specks before taking the shot.
OK, maybe they would miss Tesco - but heck, that is what art is about isn't it?

excellent.
.as for sneaky - well I've passed these bloody things at least a dozen times when the light was stunning, but didn't have a camera with me (don't like leaving it in a tesco car park!) - one day, I'll get the light, then you'll see a good photo! This'll have to do meantime.

I did a Google and found that the answer is that if you're referring to the small lumpy bits that look like moguls on a ski slope then the answer is no, however if you mean the whole hill itself then it could well be a drumlin:

I never did understand that geography stuff at O level either though...

Did someone mention oatcakes!?
I didn't know you were a Stafforshire lad Mr Carter?
Stafforshire? Where's that?![]()
BTW - All the oatcakes I've found in the Highlands have 'sell by' dates in Roman numerals.
Oatcakes aren't a foodstuff, they're a roofing material.
edited to say;- and no, they aren't drumlins.
