I have tried like a bear and it seems nobody will pick up a Painting I have, and deliver it, because it is 1.5m long and 1.1m high. I have tried about 15 couriers and all say the maximum is 120cm. I did get one quote for £286 which is just mad

I’ve just tried a 150cm x 110cm x 10cm at 10kg from my work address to a residential UK address on the company UPS account and got a price of £90.74

Do you know a friendly despatch department that could get you a quote? I’ve also been allowed to select a credit card as a payment option rather than billing our account and still got the same price

Depends on the value. One might be inclined to deliver it yourself, just hire a van etc.

I've used UPS to deliver 2m long tubes in the past, so I'd give them a try.

I have a DPD Local account. They just charge an extra manual handling fee over 1.2m long. I send parcels over 1.5m every week. Under 30kg, it’s about £12-15 (business rates).

Delivering art work is exactly what friends of ours do. They are not techie, so the website page is a bit basic, but they do work for a lot of art galleries!
