Available to order from December, deliveries expected mid 2023 - a Mercedes / Geely collaboration that seems to give a minimalist, slightly awkward, design but with decent range and cabin space.

0-60 mooted at being around 6 seconds.

I'm not sure if it's been discussed here already (I searched but found nothing) but it seems like the sort of thing that could work for a lot of people, for me it's like the Huawei of electric cars, it seems as well built and premium as higher-end stuff but potentially comes in at a lower price point that other "flagships".

There's already talk of a ~400hp Brabus version with dual motors and AWD...

It comes with one of the most important features we require in a modern vehicle :-)

"With 64 colours and 20 illumination levels, you can adjust the lights as you see fit – and even select pre-configured modes such as welcome mode to greet your passengers in style."

There are a few reviews and videos out today of the standard 2wd car and Brabus 4wd car. The Brabus has 422bhp and does 0-60 in 3.9 seconds.

Nice but looks nothing like a SMART of any kind. It could have any badge on it.

You're missing the point. It's a sophisticated, on trend re imagination of the visual perception of a Smart car, making reference, paying homage and taking inspiration from how an earlier Smart car would have looked if it looked like this car.
