How to pay with Bitcoin

I’ve kept away from crypt currency since the FBI took all my coins years and years ago as they were in a ‘bank’ associated with Silk Road. Not worth much at the time, a couple of hundred dollars. Now on the other hand ..

Anyway, someone wants to be paid in bitcoin and I can’t decide how to do it. I was recommended bitpay by bitcoin.org, was just about to set it up and then read all the reviews ….

Can anyone suggest something simple? I just want to deposit a few hundred pounds, and then use most of it to pay.

I know nothing about bitcoin, but use coinbase to make purchases from a particular online retailer who only accepts crypto.

It’s really easy and all happens relatively instantly. I pay in and make the payment out sequentially. But it does cost you 3% in and out.

Coinbase pro is far cheaper to buy and send bitcoin (and still free to sign up)
