Yes a great speaker and rugby player - this speech is especially poignant to me as I grew up in Pontypool a stones through from the Park and also did my apprenticeship 45 years ago at ICI Fibres (BNS) ..............

The Murray Walker of rugby. A very memorable voice which I enjoyed when he was commentating. He will be sorely missed.

Only just discovered this whilst i was watching the NFL highlights show earlier tonight

As referenced above, always a pleasure listening to him voicing the various montages, prose, etc, for a whole number of different sports.
