Hi, we need a new name for a new product we have invented. Ideally a catchy name and probably the domain name to match.

With few good domain names left these days what tools do people use to search or brainstorm ideas?

Thanks

the book watertight marketing.

it’s written in a cutesy way that makes tech bros think it’s not as exceptional as it is. the later editions add unnecessary extra that somewhat dilutes the simplicity of the first edition. …but imo there is no better practical first book on branding and marketing out there.

Acronyms can work. I had Action Play Equipment Ltd. The domain is ape.wales. Then lots of "monkey" type branding.
What sort of product?

Domize.com

Set it to include relevant tlds and you can quickly (and fairly reliably) see what is still available/unregistered.

It's a hand tool for sensing within turf. Giving useful info like temperature, moisture % etc.

Lawnmetric 6000.
More features than the 3000 but not frivolous like the 9000.

Indeed, it's utterly baffling that they haven't been snapped up by landscapers. I expect it takes a good four month's usage to get the most out of a product like this, so there is also the opportunity for selling a companion guide detailing the 120 days of Sod-O-Miser activity.

Some great suggestions, thanks.

Just for reference, this is a similar USA-based product, called the POGO. https://pogoturfpro.com/

Clearly "pogo" is nothing to do with the application but it's a catchy name everyone remembers and talks about.

So we might try the catchy name route also.
