Amazon Global Store - Any Customs/Duty Concerns?

Looking on the UK Amazon site and an item is advertised as sold by and despatched by Amazon US with free delivery.

I've got just about as far as buying and I can't see a single word that suggests there are any customs or duty fees to be paid independently which is something I have seen on other import items.

Also suggests that everything is handled by Amazon so the price you see is the price you'll pay.

Does anyone know if I'm missing anything as if I am I think it's pretty well buried away in small print.

I used this recently for an item I couldn't source in the UK.

Item arrived quickly enough and there were no additional fees (this was in July, so there has been plenty of time to contact me)

It says you will be refunded any amount if the charges are less than expected too.

Just ordered and received some camping lanterns from the global store.

Apart from taking a little longer with delivery it was all seamless (from the US) and ultimately delivered by RM without issue.

Same here. Bought a Weber BBQ cover from the Global Store as it was considerably cheaper than locally. Arrived quickly and delivered by Royal Mail with no additional costs.
