Queenie's passing is clearly sad, and I get that many will genuinely feel compelled to watch all the coverage or make a pilgrimage to London, but I almost feel guilty for the fact that that's not my intention. I may catch a bit of the TV etc but otherwise it's a bit of an unexpected extra day off and, on any other BH, I'd have some plan for a trip out or seeing friends etc.

Feels a bit odd, but I'm definitely going to feel at a loose end I'm sure!

What's on your schedule?!

I really hope you're right about that. Where I'm working it was already a bank holiday, and my plans haven changed: I'm doing about 7 hours driving taking my grandson home then going to where I'm working on Tuesday.

Just finished the front and rear wheel arches on mine. Tomorrow will be spraying the underside with wax.

You guys are lucky, not seen my wife's inner wing in weeks! Thankfully the rust was under control when last there anyway...

As much as this was my instinct, I kind of feel compelled to watch it.

Working. House restorations and Smallholdings don't recognise bank holidays.

Should be a day off but I’ve got such a heavy workload this week I’ll put in a few hours to get stuff cleared. Probably have the funeral on in the background though!
