Gearbox Fault Message / 4.7 V8 Vantage

Hi all,

I've had a Gearbox error message appear briefly on startup (Sportshift car), and which disappeared after a few seconds.

The following codes were registered:

P1734 "Failure to disengage current gear due to mechanical cause"
P0905 "Shift position signal wrong value"
P1701 "Wrong gear engagement"

Since then i've driven the car fro around 150km in various conditions and all was normal and the message did not reappear.

Any ideas what this might be?

Check for cracked leaking hoses on the gearbox and check oil level.
