Has anybody seen this new RUF project, together with Studiotorino they designed a dream Boxster.
Engines up to a 3.8 supercharged with 420 BHP
Car looks like a dream, would swap my 2.5 boxster for it.
Apparantly RUf does a supercharger kit for the 3.4 ; 3.6 and 3.8 engine.
Anybody any experience with superchargers rather than Turbo's, what are the pro's and what are the con's
Anyway still a hot desing this RK Spyder

I've driven the Ruf 996 Carrera 2 test mule with a 3.4 "kompressor" engine and it was quite nice. Not as dynamic and satisfying as, say, the GT3 II engine, but nonetheless a substantial improvement over the standard car.
IIRC the conversion is about 10 grand.
I thought that the conversion would be worth it if you already had a car that you were committed to keeping but wanted to enhance. I don't that that I would pay a premium to get a new car with the kompressor on it.
