Wife driving the wedge

Have been trying to persuade Kate to try driving the wedge for the last year. She' always said it's my toy and I should get the thrills. Anyway, finally got her into the driving seat this week. She is a very good driver, so I had no worries.

Next day she's complaining of arm and neck ache from the steering and gearshift, (in spite of having power steering).

Still, at least she now knows how to start and drive it if ever I scare myself ****less by losing the back end on roundabouts! Gives me more time in the drivers seat - Greeeeeat.

My wife won't even sit in the passenger seat - not because of my driving she just hates it as she thinks of the new kitchen etc it could have been.

Leads to some interesting discussions more often than is healthy.

The only SEAC she likes is the one in the BBWF pictures with the rubber duck in the water on the spoiler from the rain

I'll just say again.... please don't tell her where I live, or that I have 3 cars.

The reason for keeping them sweet is that I intend getting a few more sports cars- one milestone being when I reach fifty, a definite sports car date, dont know what type yet.Anyone similar thoughts? Wish I'd had more opportunity to speak to graham and the colonel at the bbwf !

It's a shame that when we reach the point in life when we can afford to own a sports car, we're too old to get in and out of them easily.

Certain must have cars including wedges, cerberas, elises ,vx's I would somehow manage to get in and out of and put up with possible backache legcramp etc !

It's great having a co-driver who can talk over when I have a jar too many
